Astilbe 'Mighty Pip' is one of the tallest of the chinensis types on the market, having the potential to grow over 4 feet high in the moist woodland garden! This award winning plant has full pink plumes that bloom in mid to late summer on sturdy 48 to 53" stems. Plant it in the moist, shady perennial garden with other large moisture loving plants such as Ligularia and Rodgersia.

Thank you for a great spring season!

We continue to ship Hostas and Daylilies all summer long but we are now done shipping bare root perennials for the spring and will begin shipping perennials again after mid-September. Watch for our bearded Iris listing later in June, as they are just starting to flower here now. We will also be clearing out our lily bulb coolers in early June, so watch for new lily bulb specials coming very soon.

The nursery is now open 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm, including all holidays. We are located 17 miles south of Jackson, Michigan on US-127, 1/2 mile north of US-12. For GPS directions use the address of 17680 US Highway 127, Cement City, MI 49233 as our regular nursery address usually takes you about 1 mile north of us.
