We continue shipping hostas, daylilies, and bearded Iris through the summer and the nursery is now open every day from 9am to 9pm. We are located on the west side of US-127, 17 miles south of Jackson, Michigan, 1/2 mile north of US-12. Most GPS programs and mapping programs will place you 1 mile north of our actual location. We are open all holidays through the summer.
The week of May 15th was the last week for shipping perennials in the spring, other than hostas, daylilies, and bearded Iris which ship all summer, and we will resume shipping perennials the 3rd week of September. Perennials are too grown up to dig and ship bare root during the summer so orders for perennials placed during the summer will be scheduled to ship in the fall. Yes, we ship hostas all summer long and they will ship complete with their foliage. Hostas are warm season growers, putting out new roots in the summer, so they transplant very easily during the warmer months.
