Epimedium plants (barrenwort) from Hallson Gardens: We ship Epimedium in April and early May, again in the fall as availability permits, plus we sell them at the nursery in the summer. Plants are divisions from field grown clumps with at least 3 to 5 growth points, freshly dug then trimmed back and shipped bare root.

Epimedium x versicolor 'Sulphureum' is a clumping barrenwort with short spurred, light yellow flowers that rise up above red tinted, heart shaped leaves in the spring. The flowers grow 12" tall and the clumps spread 15 to 18" wide.
