Hallson Gardens Summer Get Together Date???

Hi Everyone,

Several people have already asked about the date for our annual open house, so let's get some input on it so we can set a date.

The last 3? years, I believe, it was held the last Saturday of July. This works well because it is between the two races at the Michigan Speedway (MIS) so there isn't a conflict with those who need hotel rooms or a room at one of our local B & Bs. This year that would be July 28th.

The races are scheduled this year for June 15,16,17 and August 17,18,19, so we have a pretty big window to work with and could actually have the get together just about any weekend in July or even the first weekend in August.

So what do you all think? Give me your #1 and #2 picks for one of these Saturdays in the poll below, and I've set it up so you can change your vote later too, if you realize something else came up.

I am the only voter?.... .....I picked the 4th.....my weekend off....but I can pretty much get the other days off, I think....but it is easier when I am already off.... ....Patrushka and I are planing to hopefully come!

I've been hoping to see this event planned! Will be my first time, and I'm very excited to attend. But for now, I don't have plans for any of those weekends, so I'm holding off voting.

I guess I shouldn't wish my life away... literally... but I can't wait til I'm old and retired and can make these trips... I've never seen a real nursery in person... heck there's a couple here in Kentucky I haven't even traveled to...lol

I'm coming this year, and no one can stop me!! I've been to the nursery once before, but seeing it with other hosta people has got to beat being followed around by my husband. He's nice and all but had no idea what to do with himself.
