Pic of the Day--Garden Tour 18

Postby Hank Zumach » Mar 01, 2007 10:54 am

Hi All--Yesterday's POTD was a shot of part of the path that runs along the slope behind our house and the bench we have there. Here is pic showing part of the scene a person sees from that bench. It is looking to the west.

Pia--I remember how much you enjoyed this view. I'm glad you like it but I'm afraid you'd be disappointed if you ever saw it in person. However, if you were to ever come to the States, Betty and I would certainly welcome you to our home. :D

Thanks Hank

Going to US is starting to be a plan for real
You haven't been on the garden bench for long

There is no way I will be disapointed, the wiev is just so perfect I can't find words to describe...

One thing do I know- first time I saw it- I was like- Yes- that's the way it had to be...refering to a former house of mine, where I had steep slopes and - beside of vinca minor and a few low bushes couldn't figure out what to do .... :(
Antique rose collector at that time and had all the hostas in the World... you know the green one, the blue.......
That's may be part of it-
But I really want to sit on that bench sipping jgh's coffee :D
