Blue Arrow is a blue, but please keep in mind that the photograph was taken in evening light ... I can't tell by my reference notes whether I used a flash -- that sometimes enhances the blue coloring.
It's one of my favorite photographs, although the blue is definitely "bluer" in the evening light when this was photographed.

I was getting some photos a couple of days ago and found this Blue Arrow looking pretty good for late October since many other are completely gone or really messy looking.

I have had it since 2011 but I have never seen it flower.
