Six Months Ago - 7/27/09

Photos taken six months ago on 7/27/09.

The end of July is almost here in the forum; what is even better is the end of January is almost here.

I always enjoy seeing the flowers.

What is the one seen in the top left of the Robin Hood picture - thin white edge, some dark green stripes with dark flowers?

Only about 8 weeks until the first one shows up.

The Hosta in the upper left with the dark flowers in the Robin Hood photo is Feather Boa. The one between Feather Boa and Robin Hood is June Fever (I am pretty sure anyway). The one directly above Robin Hood is Yellow Splash Rim.

If you click on this: Big picture of Robin Hood. You will be able to see more clearly what is in the photo. Once the picture comes up, if you click on it, you will get a huge picture.

Thanks for the big picture. It seems show a "Lakeside" something label under the plant.

Duh, just realized I can't tell left from right. I need to look at the hand with the big RIGHT on it.

I really meant top right of the frame.

"What we've got here is failure to communicate."

......and I was looking so hard at the upper left, I couldn't see what was on the right.

That Hosta is Lakeside Cha Cha.

Another good looking batch of hostas. I saw some new ones in the mix again. I keep hoping my Twilight Time will look 1/2 as nice as yours this summer.

After looking at your LS Cha Cha I ordered a couple form Chris.

Just a point of interest: your photo shows some "odd" dark green lines in a couple of the leaves but the hosta library photos don't seem to show any with those lines. But the hosta encyclopdia does have a picture showing the darker green streaks.
