Hosta of the Day - Deliverance

Postby redcrx » Oct 23, 2014 6:27 am

Deliverance is a complex hybrid from Tony Avant - (('Swoosh' x longissima) x 'Red Neck Heaven') x 'Elvis Lives'.

I have it growing in the front lawn flower bed next to Lacy Belle and among my azaleas.

Here it is when I first got it from Chris early last season.

A couple of photos from last season and a few from this season.

I just noticed that the lineage of Deliverance is the same as Electrocution.
They do have a similar look with Electrocution having more ripples.

Deliverance today with flowers. This time of year it's hard to find Deliverance with Lacy Belle top/left hogging all the space with its taller and bigger leaves compared to the previous April 20th photo.
The plain green thing on the right is a weedling.
