Hosta of the Day - Emily Dickinson

Emily Dickinson is a cross of H. 'Neat Splash' x H. plantaginea. A green centered plant with a white margin. The database says it's fragrant - I hope to find out.

I have had a bunch of pots of this plant around for a few years. This season a put a couple of the bigger ones into large pots I had sitting around. I will be adding a couple of the small ones to my new front garden.
Story time:
I came by these pots years ago. They came out of Art Wrede's sales area in Maryland called Azalea Patch. I started visiting his nursery about 10 years ago. His hoop houses got hit by a tornado putting him out of business. His stock in those houses was left to the elements - deer, weeds, sticker vines. They got so overgrown I don't think the deer cold find them. When I would go for a visit, I would salvage some of the old pots - some still had label you could read.
