:D :D :D Time for OC to start taking pictures again. He had almost forgotten how long, it has been ! Saw this from the deck yesterday while warming in the morning sun, Good thing it was morning as it hit 91 in the afternoon. :D :D :D :D

Hi, John.

It's a little fuzzy (the picture, I mean), but by the COLOR it's an American Redbud, cercis canadensis. Sometimes they are multi-branched and shrubby; other times they're more of a tree.

With today's HEAT, ours are just about to pop.

Wind was blowing and it was a 300 ml hand help show. Will try to get a better picture for you. ..........Coot saying thankss for the ID.

Yep it is a Redbud! They grow wild all over here in OK. I just love them.
