Looking at over 100. I think my slushy machine is going to be working overtime.Linda P wrote:Ack...hate those little bassids too. I'm only seeing a few so far, but they're undoubtedly
getting ready to for a mass attack any day...decided this year to use Sevin on some
of the larger shrubs that they like to defoliate, but it's been too windy to spray. THought I might
be able to get out there in the evening, but the wind was still too high at sundown. Not gonna try
spraying at night.![]()
Maybe tomorrow. Still no rain, and still in the mid-upper 90's. Weather guesser was saying we had
a good chance for rain tonight, but as of yesterday he was backing way off, saying SOME but not ALL
of us would get some showers. Every time there are 'spotty showers' we are not in one of the spots.
We've had less than an inch total since the end of April, and it's really getting scary. It rained for an
hour in town Sat morning, but we got only a few sprinkles here, 4 miles away. Did someone put up
a giant umbrella over our farm?
