Hi Everyone!

Hello all! It has been a long tine since I have been on the forum. I have missed all of you greatly! I think I may have finally fixed the problem with cookies that prevented me from posting or even lurking much in the past months, so if I am correct, I will be seeing you regularly once again! Life has been good to me so far, my retirement and new job are great, and kids and grandkids are ll doing well.

I have unfurled leaves and big eyes in all my Hosta pots as I see many of you do also. This has been a strange winter, and I am afraid OKlahoma is in for a summer of 100+ days like last year... :(

Take care, hope this works!

Ginger

Welcome back , Ginger! You're not the only one with strange weather this year. We had an incredibly mild winter and now it's been in the 80s, which is really odd for our Spring. Not that I'm complaining....

Hi all! I have been browsing and see so many new names! Welcome to all the newbies! I have been really busy taking care of my Mom who had to have surgery in March and I am just now getting back to normal! My hosta are doing well, they are not as big as last year, I think the weeks and weeks of 100 plus temperatures really affected them, but they are all healthy and flowering :)

I see on the weather that many of you are suffering from heat already, we have been fortunate so far, a few 90's but we are still getting rain  Maybe we can shoot fireworks this year for the 4th

Thoses in Minnesota, hope you are okay and not suffering from the flooding!

Talk to you later!

Ginger, I can't believe I missed this!!!! A very belated welcome back! So glad that you are getting in on the rain
this year. It's my turn now to miss out. Very dry here for most of the spring. We had little snow over the winter,
and less than an inch total since the end of April. I dont' know how far down we are. We have a little pocket here
that's missed out on the rain as it goes through, so the nearby reporting stations have had more than we have.
It's really good to see old friends coming back to chat on the garden bench!
And time remembered is grief forgotten,
And frosts are slain and flowers begotten.....
