Do the siberians want to be real high like other Iris?Afriend gave me a large clump, can they be split now or should I wait until after they blosoom?

Siberians would be planted 'normally', like most other perennials, unlike Tall Bearded Iris. I would definitely wait now until after they bloom, so as to not risk losing the season's flowers. They like plenty of water to become established, but will be drought tolerant later on.

I thought you were asking about the height of the flowers. lol! I'm glad that John is on the ball. :)

Maybe I just have the Sib from he!!, but the rootball on mine probably weighs at least 250 lbs now and the last time it was divided I had to bribe two large men with axes and a 12-pack+ to go at it. LOL! its roots are so tough that they won't even come back to divide it for me again. :cool: Is anybody in my area with an axe, some muscle, and a fondness for beer? :lol: :beer:
