hello all. is there anyone that has tried the paper towel method of germinating their hosta seeds. I have some going right now. about 7 days and I will tell you, I see that a couple may be sprouting in a day or so. I am so excited about this. I would love to hear about others that have tried this method. sandy in nc

Be very careful not to damage the roots when you move them to soil. Otherwise, it works OK.

Try using coffee filters instead of paper towels -- they are more tightly woven and the emerging roots don't get caught in them as they do in paper towels.
