Pretty and the only one I grow with ZERO scent! If it smelled good it would be fantastic, but alas it is only pretty

I just can't over how perfect all your Rose plants are! There isn't a mark on any leaf! Very nice, deep green! Healthy is happy for you both huh?

Pretty. Who needs to smell good when they look that good! :D

HA! That is trick photography and early season blooms.

Right now, I think Queen Elizabeth has about 3 leaves left that don't have blackspot. The Princes (I have 2 of them) have been almost completely denuded by little green caterpillars and I could find another half dozen that look pretty beaten up.

I just don't post photos of them looking like that!

Also, I will fertilize heavily again for some reblom and then leave them alone (just lots of water) for the rest of the season.

Next season they will look great again for the first couple of weeks.

wishiwere, first stip off all the black spotted leaves, then clean up the ground so that no leaves are left behind. Then you can spray the stuff for black spots, I believe you have to do this per the bottle a few times before you see no more black spots. Or there are a couple more things like messenger which is used every 3 weeks or a lite mist of Raid in the blue can, just don't burn the leave, really lite mist. You still have to watch them for black spots and keeping on top of the problem will rid the spots.

I don't think I've had black spots, but it's the little pin pricks and the munchers mostly. I do keep the ground clean beneath them normally. This year, there are a lot of milkweed for the monarch around them, and I'm thinking that's whats causing the munching. The catapillars, maybe? Idon't water overhead, but then, I don't use many chemicals around here b/c of the wild life either :(

I use a systemic on the roses only, and it seems to work well most times, but..........
