Sugar Maples

Don't know what the cause but our Maples are losing alot of 1/2-1/3 grown leaves which are partly turned yellow ,maybe all the rain? The trees look healthy otherwise.

That could well be the cause. They do not like excessive water.

When plants get too much water the leaves turn yellow, so maybe this is the situation in your case.

The maples are much happier this year ,it being dry and gettig fed and all.
