I picked this one this season. I have others but they are small and slow growing.

Is that also a Striptease sport? Looks as though it could be.

Hi Ann. Yes it is a Striptease sport. Many Striptease sport seem to fall in to clusters of look-a-likes or look similar. One of my other postings showed the white-centered group. This sport has others similar looking plants - Naked Lady (which is really slow growing - at least for me) and Other Space. And maybe Cabaret if it doesn't get enough light.

'Poledance' is another one of these. Try telling them apart in the garden!

Good morning Viktoria. I don't have Pole Dance in my collection (but I would like to have it).

I have seen it in person.

I think this is more of a "similar". The leaves all seem consistant. Where Juha has more variability in its leaves.

Another "similar" might be Obscene Gesture with its white margined leaves but with some blue in the center center.

Might be some of them really are the same but sported simultaneously in different gardens and were registered by different people. Me, having limited space, except for Gypsy Rose, I've stayed away from the entire family.

And I've concentrated on the family. Every year there is something new and sometimes even different. I have a Striptease with a Yellow Polka Dot Bikini-like sport; another Striptease sport that may develop into a Snake Eyes-like plant; a Gypsy Rose sport with a thin green margin (I have 3 of them); a Hanky Panky sport that is shaped like Lady Godiva but total different colors and switches both center and margin colors during the season.

Juha today with a small Cabaret (vole damage) to the right. Darn, missed that poison ivy seedling.

Just noticed Juha today - might be the best it has ever looked for me. It's been there for many years (2009).
That's Hanky Panky at the top of the frame.
