Hosta of the Day #6 - Snake Eyes

Snake Eyes is one of the many sports of Striptease. What make this one different is the width of the white line that Striptease is noted for.

I have been growing two plants since 2009. I don't have full time-line spreads this season but here are my best shots. One page for each. The first is my biggest.

This is my second one. I got early photos of it. Then it was eaten by deer leaving only a couple of leaves.

Great pictures of a great plant :) It is amazing how that extra white makes such a difference and really shows up well through the year.

Here I go again! H. Snake eyes is great, got to have that next spring, and Climax too, I think! We are still waiting for rain and we need it badly! And we are just starting to lose leaves off the trees. I am not too worried about frost, we don't get many hard freezes., In fact we have had cool mornings and sunny warm afternoons. I am ready for some rain!!!

What a great lookin' plant! Is Snake Eyes as vigorous as Striptease? Does it get as large?
Anyone know of a good resource online to purchase a healthy Snake Eyes?

Snake Eyes today. It's now in a basket to keep the voles off it.
