Hosta of the Day - Frozen Margarita

Postby redcrx » Oct 06, 2012 12:14 pm

Frozen Margarita is in the Fragrant Bouquet family. It is a sport of Fried Bananas which is a sport of Guacamole which is a sport of Fragrant Bouquet. It has apple green leaves with a white margin where the white sometimes streaks into the center.

This is one of my favorites. I have two and both were damaged by deer this season.

Here is my bigger one. It was also damaged by deer.

The first shot is a late shot from last season.

This shot was taken in the evening so the color is a little muted.

Here it is today recovering from the deer attack.
