Autumn Frost ...post your pics

Postby irawon » Nov 29, 2012 3:42 pm

I really like this hosta. I planted it under a limbed up pine tree in 2011. It was fairing well in August and into fall despite the fact that some of my hostas had been assaulted by cutworms.

I got two of them in 2011. This is the bigger one. They are both planted next to a First Frost.

Autumn Frost today behind Touch of Class:

That's Toy Soldier top/left and a Goldbrook Glimmer top/center under the azalea(which needs pruning).

Same group as above with Autumn Frost and Touch of Class coming into flower.
Also in the photo are Toy Soldier top/center and Goldbrook Glimmer just above the right Autumn Frost. At the bottom/right is a Miss Linda Smith trying to get into the picture.

The azalea and weigela at the top/right took the brunt of large tree branches falling during a storm saving this cluster.
