English Sunrise

This is one Hosta I never have trouble recognizing. I always see the leaf colour as a frosty gold....sounds a bit like an oxymoron I know. I like it planted next to purple sedum. :D

English Sunrise was one of my earlier hosta. It hasn't developed much - too much tree root competition and not enough sun. I have a group of Halcyon types in the same predicament and I keep saying I have to move them but never get to it.

I really like this one, and Anita yours looks great with purple sedum. We have some purple sedum growing with Fat Cat that also makes a really nice contrast :)

Hosta 'May' is another solid yellow sport of Hosta 'June' and it seems to have a little more blue wax on it. Both May and English Sunrise color best for me with some direct sunlight.
