Two little Solberg golds

So, neither of these are in the index here, so sorry that I'm doing a twofer.

Carolina Keepsake was last year's convention plant, and so far Bob isn't listing it in his catalog, so it might be scarce for a while. Bob will freely admit that he didn't select one of his best plants for this role, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. In truth, I've not seen a hosta in our garden that looks this ORANGE as it comes up. More orange than the center of any Orange Marmalade I've seen. I might put one of ours in nearly full sun to see what it does.

Coconut Custard was one of Bob's "club plants" a few years back. (Plants he only sold through local hosta societies, when he was providing plants for their spring sales) it, too, is an unusual color in spring, matching its name more than anything else in the garden.
