Hosta of the Day - Divine Light

Postby redcrx » Jul 04, 2016 10:05 am

Divine Light is a yellow hosta from Alex Malloy. It has some red on the front of the petiole and much more on the back going well up into the back of the leaf. The leaves are long and narrow.

I couldn't find any information this plant. Not even in the Hostapedia.

Hosta Registry - not registered
MyHostas Database - not in the Database
Hosta Library - not in the Library yet

I picked up this hosta at a First Look auction. It seemed interesting with the thin leaf shape and red petioles. It will be interesting see when it flowers and what the flowers look like.

I'm hoping someone can fill in some details on this plant.
