Helleborus 'Maid of Honor'

Helleborus 'Maid of Honor' has 2 to 3" flowers with double petals in a range of pinks from light pink to dark pink.  The pendant flowers appear in late winter/early spring and the dried petals persist for a long time even after they've finished flowering.  Hellebores tend to go summer dormant, though the foliage is evergreen, so they don't like water or fertilizer during the heat of the summer and like to be transplanted in the fall.

Height: 14 - 18" Spacing: 18" apart
Light: Deciduous shade Soil: Humus-rich, moist in spring and fall, slightly dry in summer
