Hibiscus 'Midnight Marvel'

Hibiscus 'Midnight Marvel' (PPAF) is a spectacular hybrid with dark purple tinted, maple-like foliage that is covered with 8 to 9" scarlet red flowers from late summer into fall. It grows about 4' tall and wide and will have the darkest foliage color with lots of sunlight.

While many perennial Hibiscus flower only at the end of the branches, Hibiscus 'Midnight Marvel' flowers at each of the leaf nodes, producing a full, long flowering, shrub-like mound in the perennial garden. It is a hybrid of Hibiscus 'Cranberry Crush' PP#21984 x Hibiscus 'Summer Storm' PP#20443 that is similar in appearance to Hibiscus 'Fireball' PP#13631 but with more flowers over time.

Now shipping perennials and lily bulbs for fall planting:

Thank you for a great year so far. We are now shipping orders for fall planting and will continue shipping into November. Lily bulbs have recently been added and we have a great selection of OT lilies this fall, plus some great sale items, so be sure to check those out. Hellebores will be added soon and we have many hellebores potted in the nursery at this time also.

Your order can be shipped almost immediately or you can specify your preferred shipping time at checkout. Please note that we are not taking spring orders yet.

The nursery is still open to the public 7 days a week from 9am to dark. All potted plants remaining in the main sales area are now buy 1 get 1 free. We will close in late October, depending on the fall weather, so if you are in the area we would love to show you around and help you pick out some plants. We are located on the west side of US Highway 127, 17 miles south of Jackson, Michigan, and 1/2 mile north of US-12.

Feel free to email us or call us toll free at 866-568-1474 with any questions and thank you very much for your continued support!

Sincerely yours, Chris Wilson and Brian Hall, Hallson Gardens
