Hibiscus 'Turn of the Century'

Hibiscus 'Turn of the Century' forms a compact, 4 - 5' clump of branching foliage that is topped with attractive bi-color rose-red to light pink petals that look like pinweels in the late summer garden. To keep the foliage looking nice we recommend two summer applications of systemic insecticide to combat the Hibiscus sawfly. Hibiscus 'Turn of the Century' also tends to perform best in neutral to acidic soil conditions. Other perennial Hibiscus are not too picky about pH though this one does better slightly acidic.

Height: 4 - 5' Spacing: 48" apart or more
Light: Full sun to part sun Soil: Humus-rich, moist but well-drained
Bloom Time: Summer to fall Zones: 4 - 9
