Comments: Hosta 'Blue Cadet' is a classic plant that is worth a second look. It can be used as a border or just as an accent and forms a very symmetrical mound with attractive flowers. It also is the parent to the incredibly popular Hosta 'Blue Mouse Ears'. Hosta 'Field Rat' is similar but with a darker shade of purple to its flowers.
Light: Part shade to full shade. -- Soil: Humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.
