Description: Leaves are rounded and corrugated with a rippled margin, very bright pale yellow in the spring turning chartreuse as the season progresses.

Blooms: Medium lavender flowers.

Comments: This H. 'Sea Fire' hybrid will be one of the brightest hostas in the spring garden and will really brighten up a shady spot. It is a good grower making a large mound.

Light: Part shade to full shade. -- Soil: Humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.

    LOVE IT - New to me last summer and it came up looking exactly like it did when planted. Beautiful bright yellow and the rippled edges really stand out. Looks wonderful nestled in with contrasting colors. In Michigan it is doing very well in moderate shade. Even prettier than Chris' picture. Haven't seen any slug damage.
