Hosta 'Gilt By Association'

Description: Elongated leaves have white backs and a tightly rippled edge and emerge brilliant yellow in the spring turning chartreuse to medium green later in summer.

Blooms: Lavender, trumpet shaped flowers bloom on purple arching stems in late summer.

Comments: Hosta 'Gilt By Association' is a Hosta pycnophylla hybrid that emerges brilliant yellow in the spring and holds its color very well. It shows excellent sun tolerance and when combined with dark green hostas it shines like a beacon in the garden.

Light: Light sun to full shade. -- Soil: Humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil.
