Hosta 'Lakeside Paisley Print'
(Chastain 2006)
Clump Size: (SM) 20" x 10"
Leaf Size: 7" x 6" -- Vein Pairs: 10
Description: Green leaves have wavy edges and fantastic cream variegation that jet up the petioles and into the center.
Blooms: Pale lavender flowers with darker stripes bloom in early to mid summer.
Comments: Hosta 'Lakeside Paisley Print' has been highly anticipated and talked about quite a bit. The variegation is stunning but as can be expected with white centered plants it is a very slow grower, so give it plenty of good, well-aerated, humus rich soil, regular moisture and a bit of fertilizer to give it the best success.
Light: Part shade to full shade. -- Soil: Humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.
Zones: 2 - 8
