(J. Machen Jr. 2000)
Clump Size: (VL) 48" x 24"
Leaf Size: 12" x 9" -- Vein Pairs: 12 - 13

Blooms: Lavender flowers in summer.
Comments: This sport of Hosta 'Sagae' is somewhat slow growing like its parent but develops excellent size and color in time. This plant and its relatives send down very deep roots so water deeply and do not disturb them once planted. We also find that by burying the crown 2 to 3" deep in very well-aerated soil this hosta tends to develop much faster.
Light: Light sun to full shade. -- Soil: Deep, rich, consistently moist soil.
