Adiantum aleuticum 'Imbricatum'

Adiantum aleuticum 'Imbricatum' is a dwarf Western maidenhair fern with fan-shaped, finger-like fronds atop a thin black stalk growing around 8 to 10" tall, spreading slowly to form a unique little clump.

    Dicentra spectabilis 'Alba'

    Dicentra s. 'Alba' is the white blooming, old-fashioned bleeding heart. It forms a large, 30" mound of powdery green, cut foliage on fleshy stems and in spring has many long branches of pure white, heart-shaped flowers.

    Lamiastrum 'Silver Spangled'

    Lamiastrum 'Silver Spangled' is a slow spreading groundcover with green veined, bright silver foliage that is covered with pale yellow flowers in early summer. They spread slowly but not invasively and work great to brighten up the shade garden.

    Matteuccia struthiopteris 'The King'

    Matteuccia struthiopteris 'The King' is a selection of the native Ostrich fern that loves rich, moist soil in the shade and in ideal conditions can reach 7 feet tall.  It does well in the South where the regular Ostrich ferns fail to thrive and they spread readily from underground rhizomes which can be good or bad depending on the situation.

    Tiarella 'Spring Symphony'

    Tiarella 'Spring Symphony' has pink buds that open to slightly fragrant white flowers which create bottlebrush spikes about 10" high in the spring.  The compact, clumping foliage has black markings along the midrib.  Tiarella prefers well-drained, acidic soil in semi-dry shade. (PP#12397)
