Think spring planting!

We are happy to bring you our 2016 online catalog and hope you enjoy the new items and continuing selection of hosta and perennial plants. Spring shipping officially starts in April for us and it is time to get your orders in now to reserve your plants. Dormant planting is best done while the plants are still dormant and your ground is workable and drains well. Up here in Michigan our dormant planting time starts in early April and goes into May. Most of our plants can ship in April to mid-May and transplant just fine, so that is our bare root shipping window for perennials. Hostas, bearded Iris, and daylilies are warm season growers that can be shipped all summer long and into the fall but you will want to preorder now for shipping in April, May, or early June. Just let us know your preferred shipping time/week at checkout.

When you pre-order for spring we normally do not bill credit cards until the time of shipping. However, if you want to pay at the time you place your order use coupon code prepay-10 and we will take 10% off your plant total and bill the credit card ahead of time. This coupon is good until March 12th, 2016. If you don't want to pay in advance use coupon code early-5 and we will take 5% off your advance order. This coupon is also good until March 12th, 2016. If you don't use a coupon we will apply the 5% discount for you.

Feel free to email us or call us toll free at 866-568-1474 with any questions and thank you very much for your continued support!

Sincerely yours, Chris Wilson and Brian Hall, Hallson Gardens
