    Asclepias incarnata, swamp milkweed, is a beautiful native perennial with clusters of upturned pink flowers in June and July.  The fragrant, vanilla scented flowers bloom on 24 to 48" stems and are a favorite of butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.  Give it evenly moist soil for the best growth.

    Eupatorium 'Atropurpureum' is a native wetland plant that creates a bold architectural backdrop in the rich, moist garden. It grows 6 to 8 feet tall and is topped with rosy-purple flowers in late summer.
