Brunnera 'Jack Frost'

Brunnera 'Jack Frost' (PP#13859) has silvery heart-shaped leaves with prominent green veins and are very attractive. They do great when planted in a cool, shady location however they can also take a surprising amount of bright light given good soil and occasional moisture. It is covered with tiny, sky blue forget-me-not like flowers in the spring but it is the bright silvery foliage that steals the show.

Customer Reviews

Brunnera 'Jack Frost' is a terrific shade perennial. It is easy to grow and is rather drought tolerant when established, preferring well drained conditions. It also grows good in a half day of morning sun and is good for slopes or somewhat dry shade. Plant it with the crown covered to keep it cool in summer and protected from drying out in winter.
