Chelone glabra

Chelone glabra (white turtlehead) has white flowers, often tinged with pink, blooming in late summer on 36" upright stems with glossy, deep green serrated foliage. These native plants are attractive to hummingbirds and need rich, moist soil for best growth. Plant them in full sun if they have constant moisture, otherwise they are better in light sun or partial shade.
