Cimicifuga 'Cheju Do'

Cimicifuga 'Cheju Do' (also listed as Actaea 'Cheju Do') has basal clumps of glossy, dark green dissected leaves topped in mid to late summer with multiple spikes of pink buds that open to starry white flowers.  The foliage stays compact at about 18" high and the flower spikes will reach 3' high or more.  When mature each clump can carry a dozen or so flower stalks and they grow about 24" wide.

This variety is rather drought tolerant and does not like to be wet, so you only need to water if the soil is dry and they are wilting, then allow the soil to dry before the next watering.

Height: 36" Spacing: 18 - 24" apart
Light: Light sun to full shade Soil: Humus-rich and well-drained, woodland type soil
Bloom Time: late summer and fall Zones: (3) 4 - 8
