Cimicifuga 'James Compton'

Cimicifuga 'James Compton' has bronze tinted foliage that is held on upright stems. In late summer and early fall they are topped with 3 - 4' spikes of fragrant pinkish-white flowers. It is a little shorter than other types of Cimicifuga but still makes an excellent background plant in the shade garden. Also known as Actaea 'James Compton'.
