Convallaria 'Rosea'

Convallaria 'Rosea', pink lily of the valley, is a dense, fast spreading groundcover with 2 to 3 broad leaves and upright stems of dainty bell-shaped, fragrant pink flowers in spring followed by orange berries in the summer. They grow 6 to 8" tall and spread 15 to 18" or more. Use them as a solid groundcover around trees and shrubs or plant them in a self-contained, shady border where you can enjoy their sweet fragrance as you pass by in spring. They like part to full shade and need shade from the heat of the day, especially in the South.

Height: 6 - 8" Spacing: 15 - 18" apart or more
Light: Part shade to full shade Soil: Humus-rich, well-drained
Bloom Time: Spring Zones: 2 - 7 (8)
