Coreopsis 'Redshift'

Coreopsis 'Redshift' (PP#20412) is a hardy, very long blooming coreopsis hybrid with creamy yellow flowers around a rich red eyezone, flowering on sturdy, upright, 24 to 30" stems. They flower from June to frost and in fall the flowers take on a unique red blush.

Coreopsis 'Redshift' is part of the Big Bang series of hybrids from Darrel Probst. It overwinters in zone 5 but like most other coreopsis prefers good winter and spring drainage. It is also very heat and drought tolerant in the garden, combining well with other drought tolerant plants such as Russian sage and Sedum.

Height: 24 - 30" Spacing: 18 - 24" apart
Light: Full sun to part sun Soil: Average to rich, well-draining
Bloom Time: Summer into fall Zones: 5 - 9
