Diplazium pycnocarpon - glade fern

Glade ferns have arching and upright fronds with smooth, medium green, feathery blade pairs. The sterile fronds tend to arch more while the fertile fronds are narrow and upright. This fern is easy to grow and relatively drought tolerant. In time the slow creeping rhizomes can spread to form a dense colony but it is not invasive. (Syn. Athyrium pycnocarpon and the new name is Deparia pycnosora)
