Groundcover Sedum: This group of sedum plants grow about 3 to 4" tall and have a spreading habit. Some are very vigorous groundcovers that can be used on slopes or under and around large perennials or shrubs while others are slower growing and useful along the border or in the rock garden.

Sedum acre is a tightly low growing groundcover topped with yellow flowers in the spring. It grows 2 to 4" high and spreads as far as allowed, looking great cascading over rocks or used between stepping stones, just trim away the excess.
