Description: Rounded leaves are slightly cupped, thick and heavily corrugated, chartreuse changing to bright yellow as the season progresses, coloring best in some bright light.

Blooms: Pale lavender to near white flowers bloom in early to midsummer.

Comments: Hosta 'City Lights' is known for its excellent bright yellow color, thick leaves and large mound size. It is a fairly good grower that holds up well through the season.

Light: Light sun to full shade. -- Soil: Humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.

Zones: 2 - 8
