Description: Leaves have fantastic rippled edges which emerge bright yellow in the spring and hold their yellow color into the summer provided it is grown in some bright light, preferably some morning sun. In the shade it will turn green later in summer.

Blooms: Pale lavender flowers.

Comments: Hosta 'Dancing Queen' is a hybrid of Hosta 'Split Decision' with really nice bright coloring and some great piecrust edges. Plant it in a little bit of morning sunlight for best substance and longest lasting bright color. In the shade it will turn greenish in summer.

Light: Light sun to moderate shade. -- Soil: Humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.
