Hosta 'Goodness Gracious'

(Walters Gardens 2009)

Clump Size: (M) 28" x 20"

Leaf Size: 8" x 6" -- Vein Pairs: 8 - 10

Description: Rounded, thick and deeply veined leaves have a thin green center with a wide yellow rippled margin that will turn creamy yellow in bright light. (PP#23081)

Blooms: Pale lavender flowers bloom in June and July.

Comments: Hosta 'Goodness Gracious' is a wide margined sport of Hosta 'Satisfaction' that will make a very attractive medium to large sized mound. Like others in this family it should be fairly sun tolerant. It has been discontinued by the originator and we only have a few plants remaining.

Light: Part sun to dappled shade. -- Soil: Humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil.

Related Plants: Piedmont Gold, Satisfaction

Zones: 2 - 8
