Hosta 'Kifukurin Hyuga'

Description: Leaves are shiny, elongated and oval, medium green with a somewhat wavy, creamy yellow margin. It is a fast grower that forms a medium sized cascading mound.

Blooms: Very attractive, pale lavender flowers bloom in dense clusters in late summer.

Comments: Useful as an edger or mid-garden backdrop, it looks great in mass plantings, especially when it blooms. Originally from Japan it has also been listed as H. kikutii 'Kifukurin', H. kikutii 'Kifukurin Hyugo' or just H. kikutii 'Hyuga'. They are all the same plant.

Light: Part sun to full shade. -- Soil: Rich, moist, well-drained.
