Description: This hosta forms a distinctly upright clump of slightly cupped, elliptic foliage that is dark green with a creamy white margin and the variegation continues all the way down the long, wide petioles.

Blooms: Lavender striped flowers bloom in August and early September.

Comments: This sport of H. rectifolia spreads horizontally underground so be sure to bury the emerging eyes and dormant buds about 2" below the soil. The old name for this plant was H. rectifolia 'Kinbuchi'.

Light: Part sun to light shade. -- Soil: Rich, moist, well-drained.
