Description: This small hosta has slightly wavy leaves that are streaked and flecked with green and cream, starting out bright yellow in spring turning shiny green later in the summer.

Blooms: Pale purple, spidery flowers bloom in late August/early September.

Comments: This is a very attractive seedling from Hosta yingeri. It emerges bright yellow and misted in the spring changing over to dark green and streaky as the season progresses. It has very attractie flowers in late summer and fall and is a good breeder plant as both a pod and pollen parent if you are able to work with the late blooms.

Light: Part shade to full shade. -- Soil: Humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.
