Hosta 'Lakeside Surf Rider'

Description: Large, upright, bluish-green leaves with white backs have a rippled edge and make a very impressive specimen plant. It is a really good grower and develops into a very large clump.

Blooms: Near white flowers bloom in June/July.

Comments: Hosta 'Lakeside Surf Rider' is a hybrid of Hosta 'Lakeside Ripples' x Hosta 'Sagae' which has some of the best characteristics of both parents. It has large, bluish leaves that it gets from H. 'Sagae' but excellent growth and rippled edges from H. 'Lakeside Ripples'.

Light: Part sun to full shade. -- Soil: Humus-rich, moist soil.
