Description: Elongated leaves are thick and leathery, smooth, blue-green with a wavy edge. Towards the end of the season the foliage becomes shiny grayish-green.

Blooms: Lavender striped flowers appear to have a bluish cast to them, are slightly fragrant, and bloom in August.

Comments: This possible hybrid of H. 'Invincible' is a vigorous grower with very thick and attractive leaves and a beautiful flower display that looks almost blue from a distance.

Light: Light sun to full shade. -- Soil: Humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.
